The Glycerin in our formula acts as a Humectant. It attracts moisture to the skin and is a natural emollient, and has a cooling effect on skin.  It also helps retain the moisture in our formula so it does not dry out.

We use Carbomer for a the dual purposes of thickening our formula to a silky gel-like consistency and prevent the oil and liquid parts of our formula from separating.

We use Palmitamidopropyltrimonium Chloride in our formula primarily for its ability to keep our oil and water components from separating into their individual components.

We use Chamomile Extract to restore suppleness and enhance the appearance of the skin after the layer of dead skin has been removed.

We use Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Oil for it’s excellent skin toning effect.  With excellent exfoliating properties and the ability to help smoothes fine lines, it additionally aids in the stimulation new skin cell growth and moisturizes the epidermis after the dead skin is removed.  It also provides some of the scent in our formula.

Argania Spinosa Leaf Extract is considered by many to be a super-ingredient for skin care.  With high levels of antioxidants, essential fatty acids and as much as three times more anti-aging natural vitamin E than any other natural oil, it has amazing restorative and anti-aging benefits.

We use our Alpha Hydroxy Acid blend for it’s noticeable effect of gently exfoliating the skin, moisturizing it as well as controlling the pH of our formula. It helps to improve texture and overall appearance, resulting in a clear, smooth and youthful looking skin.

We use Acai Berry Extract for its antioxidant properties which are known to be an aging beauty's partner in crime. It's rich in vitamins A, B, C, and E so it's going to revive your skin, heal damaged skin cells, and restore healthy skin cells.

We use Sodium Chloride in our formula for it’s fantastic ability to bind compounds together helping our formula maintain it’s gel like consistency. It is also known to have antibacterial and antimicrobial effects.

We use Phenoxyethanol in our formula for its anti-bacterial/microbrial features.

We use Phenyl Trimethicone in our formula because it spreads easily over the skin and forms a non-greasy and non-sticky film that prevents the loss of moisture from the surface. This film is impermeable to water, but permeable to gases, so the skin under the film breathes. It also provides a softening effect and does not prevent your natural skin secretions.

Squalene mimics your natural sebum, improving elasticity by increasing moisture retention and nutrients. Squalane oil is ideal for all skin types, including oily skin. Because it is non-comedogenic and lacks the oily residue, it will not clog your pores and has also shown to be powerful when it comes to fighting free radicals and reversing damage caused by the sun. It is a wonderfully moisturizing ingredient as well as being a source of replenishing fatty acids and antioxidants.

We use this ingredient because when applied to the skin, it gives a silky and slippery feeling to the touch and acts a mild water repellent by forming a protective barrier on the skin. This feature of being an emollient that soothes and softens the skin by keeping moisture locked in. It may also correct dryness by preventing water loss and prevents scaling by holding more water on the skin’s surface. It is believed that it can also fill in fine lines and wrinkles, giving the face a temporary “plump” look. An additional benefit is that it doesn’t cool during evaporation, which is helpful because it helps decrease possible discomfort.

These ingredient function as a skin conditioner and emollient. When applied to the skin, it creates a subtle gloss that feels smooth and silky to touch. It also acts a mild water repellent by forming a non-greasy protective barrier on the skin, and can fill in fine lines/wrinkles on the face, giving it a temporary “plump” look.

We use Pentaerythrityl Tetrathylhexanoatel as an emollient and for it’s fantastic skin conditioning properties.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil is a rich source of numerous fatty acids and can also provide topical skin-soothing benefits. Its texture is similar to the oil (sebum) human skin produces, which makes it a great ingredient for dry skin.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil is rich in nutrients such as calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and vitamins A, K and E, it’s used effectively against inflammation and general irritations of the skin. Being very high in vitamin E, it acts as an emollient which traps moisture and keeps skin well hydrated. It also helps prevent damage to cells by ultraviolet light and aids against premature aging of skin by protecting the collagen and elastin content. Sunflower is a source for beta-carotene which is converted to vitamin A with benefits of protection from sun damage and free radicals. Omega-6 (linoleic acid) which is found in sunflower oil, assists with cell development and treating disorders such as eczema, acne and scarring.

Tocopherol is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin from environmental stressors like pollution and UV. Tocopherols also help tighten and firm the look of skin which makes vitamin E the perfect addition to any anti-aging regiment.  Vitamin E has a long reputation as an effective moisturizer.

Rosa Rugosa Flower Oil has been known to assist in the healing of every skin type. Though to be an astringent, with skin-toning properties, it also wonderful at cooling and soothing sensitive skin. Rosa Rugosa Flower Oil is adaptogenic in that it can be useful for all skin types, especially dry and inflamed skin.

Bitter orange has the unique ability to cleanse and calm oily skin. This amazing ingredient cleanses the skin of dirt, oil and impurities from the skin without stripping it as some harsh over-the-counter synthetic formulas.  It then works to calm and balance making the skin perfect for moisturization. This refreshing component makes it ideal for oily skin and those with clogged pores.

Pelargonium Graveolens reportedly has the ability to create a balance between oily and dry skin by stabilizing the production of sebum.  This stability assists in boosting and improving the elasticity of the skin. As an added benefit, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil adds a delightful rose-like scent to our formula.

Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil is a sensational part of the fragrance of our Rejuvenation Serum.  We combined the elegant rose fragrance of Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil with the fresh and revitalizing scent of Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil to create a unique and balanced aroma.
